Luo Yi works best with Junglers who are often looking for fights around the map, such as Aamon and Karina, because she can use her Ultimate to cut down their travel time.
Luo Yi is countered by Fighters or Tanks with high HP recovery like Uranus and Fredrinn because she can't deal enough damage to finish them off quickly.

Seeking to revive an ancient past, she is the sole being who has mastered the secrets of Yin and Yang.
Luo Yi's skills can create Sigils of Yin/Yang on the battlefield. Each Sigil lasts up to 6s. Sigils of opposite attributes will trigger Yin-Yang Reaction when they are within a certain distance, dealing 300 (+25*Hero Level) (+190% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to the marked enemies, stunning them for 0.3s, and pulling them toward each other. Each time Luo Yi applies a new Sigil to a marked enemy, she gains a 300 (+10*Hero Level) (+150% Total Magic Power) shield (up to 3 stacks) and 50% extra Movement Speed that decays over 2s.
Luo Yi casts the energy of Yin/Yang in the target direction, dealing 285 (+135% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to the first enemy hit and those behind them in a fan-shaped area. Enemy heroes hit are marked with a Sigil of Yin/Yang. Luo Yi stores up to 4 Dispersion charges and gains 1 charge every 8s. She also immediately gains 1 charge each time Yin-Yang Reaction is triggered. The state of this skill changes on each cast.
Luo Yi summons Fire of Yang/Aqua of Yin at the target location, dealing 250 (+50% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies hit and slowing them by 60% for 0.5s. Fire of Yan/Aqua of Yin then remains at the location for 6s, dealing 50 (+10% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage every 0.7s to nearby enemies. It can also trigger Yin-Yang Reaction with Sigils of opposite attributes. The state of this skill changes on each cast.
Luo Yi creates a Teleport Circle around herself and marks the target location (within 28 units) as its destination. After a 3s delay, allied heroes (including herself) within the Circle will be teleported to the location. Passive: Luo Yi's Cooldown Reduction is increased by 6%.

In teamfights, use Luo Yi's 1st Skill to mark the enemy with a Yin/Yang Sigil and use it again on another nearby enemy to apply the opposite Sigil and trigger a Yin-Yang Reaction. Then repeat the process. If there is only one enemy, use Luo Yi's 2nd Skill to trigger Yin-Yang Reactions.

In the laning phase, use Luo Yi's 1st Skill to mark the enemy with a Yin/Yang Sigil, then use her 2nd Skill to summon Fire of Yang or Aqua of Yin in range of the target to trigger a Yin-Yang Reaction.

Battle Spell. I recommend using Flicker as your main spell since Luo Yi doesn’t have any built-in mobility. It helps you reposition easily, escape dangerous situations, or even pull off unexpected combos during team fights. You can also use Purify if you’re facing enemies with a lot of crowd control. It allows you to remove debuffs and continue casting your skills safely, especially in crucial clashes.

Stats when items passive are stacked : —7710 hp—452 magic power—320 physical defense—210magic defense. 4.2k damage per combo. You will not need boots, it's a waste of 720 gold in early game. Clock of destiny is my Luo's core item, provides mana but the passive is Destiny is especially useful because you can stack it in syncs with Luo's passive. Ice queen wand because the 7% mov speed and the 10% spellvamp benefits her, and the passive benefits her allies too—orovide a stronger control effect in teamfights. Dominance ice, I know some people would say Burning wand is better but we are going for a sustain Luo-Yi who is able to go on the frontline, especially when you don't have a support, squishy mm and an assassin jgl. You can rush ice Dom before ice queen wand. Guardian helmet, I suggest to build it when the enemy team have constant big damage dishing heroes (Lesley, Clint, Martis, Eudora, Cecilion, Saber, Arlott etc) Guardian helmet will cancel Martis Ultimate and will let your survive with 2% hp after Harley's ultimate. Bladed Armor is only worth buying if the enemy has attack speed heroes, else it can be replaced by Antique cuirass. Last item can be changed, Holy crystal is priori when your team lacks danage—it also benefits Luo-Yi's passive shields. If the enemy has constant magic damage , it would be wise to buy radiant armor instead.(Alice, Novaria, Nathan, Lylia, Silvanna) Especially since you'll get the focus because you look defenceless. Sometimes Concentrated energy is good too.
