With her Ultimate, Ixia is capable of dealing impressive sustained damage. So she works best with heroes with area CC abilities, like Atlas and Vexana.

The leader of Bad Soul and self-proclaimed inventor, she wields a homemade weapon powered by a stolen Starlium reactor.
Ixia's Basic Attacks and skills apply a stack of Starlium Charge to enemies on hit. When Ixia performs a Basic Attack on an enemy with two stacks of Starlium Charge, the attack will consume the stacks and be replaced with Siphon Starlium, dealing (+150% Total Physical Attack) (+200 Lifesteal) plus (+10*Hero Level) Physical Damage to the target. Ixia recovers HP equal to the damage dealt by Siphon Starlium (only 10(+150 Lifesteal)% against non-hero units) and reduces the target's Movement Speed by 25% for 1s. Siphon Starlium can trigger on all enemies in front of Ixia that are within her Basic Attack range, but it cannot Crit. Ixia's Basic Attacks cannot trigger Lifesteal.
Ixia fires 2 Starlium-charged energy beams along the ground in the target direction, dealing 50 (+70% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in a rectangular area. When hitting enemy heroes, Ixia gains 50% Movement Speed for 2s. Enemies hit by both beams will take double damage.
Ixia unleashes a canister of Starlium energy in the target direction, knocking back nearby enemies, and pulling enemies in range to the center line after a short delay and dealing 200 (+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage.
Ixia reassembles her weapon into 6 smaller weapons and enters the Barrage state for 4s. In this state, Ixia's Basic Attacks and skills can hit enemies in the large fan-shaped area in front of her but not outside it. Ixia's Basic Attacks can hit up to 6 enemy units (prioritizes heroes), and Siphon Starlium will fire simultaneously with her normal Basic Attacks.

Ixia is a marksman hero gold lane lane. Stick to the role the hero is designed for — forcing a marksman into an off-role almost always drops their win rate by 3-5%. Check the Overview tab on this page for the recommended lane layout.
The strongest counters to Ixia right now are Estes, Hanabi, Floryn. Estes alone can flip a Ixia matchup by several percent — if you see any of these picked, adjust your build or lane assignment. Full counter list with live win-rate impact is in the Counters tab.
Hard counters to Ixia: Estes, Hanabi. These heroes' kits fundamentally suppress Ixia — expect a +3% or larger win-rate swing in the opponent's favour. Soft counters: Floryn. The matchup tilts against Ixia but is still playable with careful positioning and itemisation.
